The members of the Astronomical Society of Greater Hartford would like to invite you to attend our annual conference, STARCONN 2009, as a vendor or equipment exhibitor.   StarConn is presented by the Astronomical Society of Greater Hartford and with the kind and generous cooperation of the Astronomy Department of Wesleyan University.  The conference will be held at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, on Saturday, June 6^th, 2009.  Our program will be in the spacious, multi-media amphitheater of Room 150 of the Science Center on Church Street and is part of a daylong, astronomy "convention."

This daylong astronomy convention is held at 150 Exley Science Center Auditorium, Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. Our current speaker list is available here.

Previous speakers have included:  William Zmek on “Fine Tuning the Hubble Fine Guidance System,” Stefan Immler on “High Energy X-ray Emissions from Small Galaxies,” Alyssa A. Goodman on “Mapping the Interstellar Medium,” Nagin Cox of the Mars Rover program from the JPL and other notable people on the cutting edge of Astronomy and Cosmology.  The Astronomy Department of the Van Vleck Observatory is our hosts who help make this event possible.  We have modified the speaking schedule to allow more time for visitors to spend time with vendors.
